The Roderic Deane Show is a bi-weekly broadcast on BlogTalkRadio that gives me another avenue of expression. I normally schedule my shows for Sunday at noon Eastern time.
My show is dedicated to sharing my conservative thoughts, interviewing conservative bloggers and providing you with little-known news in an attempt to help you know what I know. I guess I’m one of those hated “Tea Party” members, so be forewarned that you’ll get that perspective.
My show page is http://www.blogtalkradio.com/rodericdeane. From there, you can access all my archived shows or access the link to listen to my show live on Sundays!
Although I like to broadcast a conservative agenda, I will never use the show to promote a hateful discourse. My goal is to inform and advise in the hopes of changing minds leading into the 2012 election.
I truly believe that the vast majority of Americans are living their lives in a conservative manner. They are focused on work, supporting their families and making sure that their children have a future of opportunity. That ethic has supported a vast majority of the American public, but is now under assault by the intrusions of government.
If I conveyed all my conservative beliefs to you in this post, I would expect the left-wing blogosphere and lamestream media to label me a far, right-wing extremist. I don’t know what that means. I go to work every day, support my kid’s college education, cut my yard on weekends and blog about my feeling as a conservative.
I guess what makes me a right-wing extremist is my willingness to speak out. If that’s the case, I’ll borrow a phrase from Sarah Palin’s speech to the Madison Tea Party: “GAME ON!”
